Fifty-two

This week has had its ups and downs...until this morning.  There are moments in the mission that change your life ..forever.  And this morning was one of these.  All I can say is that I know Jesus Christ knows all, has felt all, and wants that we trust in Him so we can progress in our lives.  The Atonement is real.  I read the last part of the talk the Pres. Packer gave in General Conference.  We should not live in our guilt, but we need to move on.  We will never be able to do everything, but the key is to keep trying.  When we repent sincerely Heavenly Father erases the memory from his mind and we should too.  It does not help us to live in the past with our weaknesses.   In the mission it is sometimes easy to worry about the little things and to lose sight of the bigger picture.  I am so grateful that I can live each day with joy as a confide in my Savior.

La Copa America is happening here in Chile....yah!  It is like the Mundial ...again.  Don´t worry Caden...Chile is going to win...Colombia can come in 2nd ;)

We have been trying to get in contact with a man named R.  He served in the mission, was married in the temple, but now him and his wife are in the process of a divorce.  Since then he has not been attending church.  A couple of weeks ago we felt to pass by his house but he was not there so we left a note in his fence.  This week we passed by and were able to visit him.  In the end of the visit, he started to share a experience that he had.  He told us that one day he felt lost in the life and felt far away from God and he did not know what else to do so he knelt down and prayed.  Two days later he found our note in his fence and for him that was the answer to his prayer that God had not abandoned him.  Wow.  Heavenly Father answers the prayers of his children in so many ways.

Hermano P (he lives in Valle Grande) gave a talk this domingo.  He said that when we are called to do callings for Heavenly Father we will never have all the knowledge how to do it, but the part mas importante is to be worthy.  There are people who wait until they are ¨perfect¨to do things but this will never happen.  We need to be worthy aka keep the commandments and act with this faith.

Keep your chins up, keep on swimming, and keep on repenting, and we will have the peace.  The purpose of this life is to have joy, and this joy is only available through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
